21st September 2007 Windsurfing: West Mersea Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: Flat/Chop Air Temperature: Warm Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Unbelievably this was my first windsurfing session since the 20th of July (and the session before that was in May). My worst year's windsurfing stats since I started I think! Oh well, hopefully I can make up for it in the last part of the year. The lack of time-on-water was showing a bit, being reliably informed that I was "gybing like a German". I believe that's bad... Had a nice session sailing with 'squawk', and finally managed a direct comparison between my two 6.5m sails - now I know which one I'm gonna keep and which one I'm gonna sell - they're *very* different in character! Glad to be back on the water anyway, even if I am a little rusty in parts (as is my board, bizarrely). |
